Anyone else here in GA have an ARB bumper on a second gen?

 

I need bumpers. Instead, I bought a gun this evenin.

It's just a .22. Gonna take it into where I'm huntin and take out some coyotes.

How do your skid plates fit? I bought mine used from a guy that had them on his 4Runner (he bought it from a guy that had a Tacoma ) and the skids don't seem quite right.

 

I have one and will be in Augusta in April...

 

it came with a smaller skid, that connects to the one that came on it. both of mine are dented all to hell now but it had holes in it that matched up and longer bolts that replaced stock and ran through both of them if im not mistaken. i need some real skids but i try to avoid rocks if i can so im not in a real hurry for em. i mainly use my truck for woods/mud.

 

The main skid (the center one) is really flimsy feeling and is too long. And the side skids only match up with the holes on the bumper. Are holes on those supposed to match to anything on the truck? I only have the main bumper on right now, the fender well fronts are zip-tied up so they don't flap and the fogs/indicators aren't hooked up.

I went to 4WheelParts and they said it wasn't for a Tacoma...but it seemed the bumper itself fit perfectly
He just said that if I'm going to put a winch on (which I will be right after Christmas ) that I'll need to tack weld the bumper in place due to the mismatch. And don't worry...I wouldn't be going to them to have that done lol

And one more question...does your bumper move at all separately from your truck? Mine moved the tiniest bit when the guy at 4WP was checking it out.

yeah I was gonna get it but I like the s&w better but both are bad ass theyre fun and cheap to shoot I got a bunch of stuff for mine I will post a pic if you wanna see

 

Yea, the SW was more expensive. I don't need anything expensive. Just gonna shoot some targets, some squirrels, maybe some coyotes. Wantin to get a red dot or a cheap scope for it. Yea man, throw up a pic!

 

Anybody go to the gun show in Marietta today? I left empty handed. It was just not what I was expecting; I only saw a handful of things that were decently priced. The rest of the stuff, I am 99% sure I can find cheaper. I was disappointed, but I'm guessing there was a lot of increased prices to rip off people because of the shooting in CT/people scared of weapon bans/etc.

any of you guys snowboard (or hell even ski)? i think some of us east TN guys are going to have a day meet at ober Gatlinburg and snowboard. prob meet up around noon and get food than head up the mountain. don’t have a set date yet, but i think it maybe the weekend of jan 26th. i don’t think it will work out in the next 3 weeks before i head up to western NEW YORK to see family, jan 19th till about the 27th or 28th.

edit: i know some of you guys are kinda far, but just thought i would say something. i’ll try and post up in here when we have a set date, or just come on into the official TN thread.
