GA Tacoma Owners BS Thread

Hey man. It's chad rays brother in-law. Not sure if u knw him. But it's a prerunner with 17's and he wants 16's. if y'all think they'll fit I'll pass the news on.

I don't really know those guys that well. Back when I used to work at Carquest I would take parts up there to them every once in a while, but they did most of their business with Norman down at Kaye's Auto Parts (Napa). I'd probably know him if I saw him.

 

Yep. He does all my lifts for me. So u think a 16 can replace that 17

 

Yea. There's no reason it shouldn't. Sports and Off Roads are identical besides the fancy scewp and color matched everything. He's good to go with a 16.

Mine came with 17's and I'm running 16's now.

Got a deal on them, otherwise I probably would have stayed with 17's.

You do have to be careful though with the 16's, I've read on here of certain wheels in a 16 won't clear the calipers.

 

My light bar took about a month. I think they are a kind of small business, because they made mine to order, instead of having a bunch already made. This was also two years ago, I'm sure now they have even more business. But they did get back to me with the emails.

 

I'm gonna be up there in Feb 15-20 to snowboard with my roommate. First time snowboarding, I heard Ober suppose to be pretty cool.

they said tomorrow they may ship them hopefully. The not communicating back with me until three days later really ticked me off but oh well i just want my side steps.

Nice man! I advise against using the plastic shock boots that go on the front struts.

Really? When I had mine, I checked not long after I had installed them and there was shit caked all the way to the top of the cover and that was from normal driving. After a while I would imagine all the stuff that can get caught in there would wreak havoc on the strut.
