I didn't pull my dash apart that much man. Its pretty simple to do the led swap tho. The leds for the dash aren't that small, u should c the ones for the stereo. Those r the ones that r SMALL.

Here is a pic of mine.

Yes that's a very good write up. I would recommend after every led change go test it. If you don't you will be chasing your tail trying to find where you went wrong. Also order extra LEDs. AND just like in the write up pay attention to where the notches are in the LEDs and make sure they go the same way. I would recommend a fine tip soldering kit. NOT a soldering gun.

You do not need to put it all back together to test it, just take the board out and plug it in and turn the key. If it lights up move to the next led.

I said order extra because you will melt some of those lil LEDs. Use a pare of tweezers not your fingers. Good luck

That n the little "notch" on each LED there's a white dot indicating how it's suppose to be laid down n soldered

As for going to check every light...I just check it with an digital volt/ohm meter or go check them by sections becuz the lights work in 4 different sections (background)

Yup...ones the rpms, speedo, gas/temp n odometer...if one section is out all you gotta do is toubleshoot those 2-3 lights...if u know your way with a meter it will light them up individually n the one that doesn't light up is the bad one :p
