There's a few threads about the flagpole and shoe trips. Tons of pics and videos. Look in southeast regional threads. On my phone or I would link for you

Ive been to both. Imo shoecreek is a little more fun than gwnf. But ive also been to uwharrie in nc and neither compare to that place. Just depends on how far you want to push your truck. If your looking for mud I cant help you much. Im not a fan of hitting mud holes, used to though until I got introduced to climbing rocks.

i havent been to any public place, only on my grandparents 200 acre farm in pennsylvania have i ever been on any trails, so i have no idea what those places are like. Are they just long trails with mud and stuff? Idk about climbing rocks, i don't want to scuff up my truck. But then again, I've never been so maybe i would love it. Thanks for the input!

Shoe creek and flagpole are pretty stock friendly as far as mods to the truck. The main trails are fairly easy, with the harder stuff off to the sides which you can bypass.

As far as mud, there are a few creeks that i remember crossing at both places, but not a lot of mud. Mostly its just trails and obstacles. I guess if you go after a good rain there might be some muddy spots off the main trails but I think that kind of stuff is pretty discouraged since they are public trails and people don't want to see them get messed up.

Unfortunately where we live there isn't much for off road action that is LE friendly. I wish there was :(
