I just ordered an aFe stage 2 air intake, floor mats, and a rubber mat for the bed plus some neoprene seat covers. I'm also working on my dashcam setup. Inspired by Russian videos on youtube, or whatever, I have 2 cameras - one forward and one backward. I'm tapping into EFI2 with an AddACircuit to trigger a relay that activates a cig lighter power strip to turn the cameras on. A while ago I ran some 4 gauge wire from the battery to the cab into a powerpole distribution unit for my 200 watt HF radio. That line will be the power source for the cameras. I have a spare subwoofer in cabinet and an amplifier. I want to replace the factory head unit with a touch screen navigation unit, but I'd like to be able to use the sub for now before I add it.

I'm waiting for the factory warranty to expire and then I'll add the TRD supercharger. I've got a while to go before that warranty expires and in the interval I think I'm going to add a 3" lift as my tires have probably 1000 miles left.

I'm going to the wheeling meet this weekend.

I just got badly needed new tires (FS Dest A/T). The old ones still had tread, but they were terrible off-brand cheap-o tires that the dealer put on. They got me stuck in a few spots I should have never been stuck.

I shopped around a lot and Firestone was the cheapest at the time. They were even lower than tirerack.

The TRD supercharger does not void your warranty. It is a OEM Toyota part that comes with its own Toyota warranty and does not in any way void your existing warranty. All TRD parts are the same way...from the supercharger to the exhaust.

I knew that, but it was my read that adding the supercharger would extend the warranty - is that incorrect?

Not to my knowledge. You do have a warranty on the supercharger itself, but I don't think it will extend the existing warranty on the truck.

Pricing out my new diffs from ECGS and can't decide if it's really worth $600 extra for a front locker. I've got the rear locker and good tires, is it really necessary?

Going to 4.10s BTW

Depends on how you are offroading I guess...

I mostly go hunting, which is not always on roads or trails. I get over light rocks, fallen trees, etc. I'm fine with no front locker. I can't imagine a situation I would find myself needing one unless I was trying to climb rocks. But, if I was going to climb rocks, I would buy a Jeep.

Worse comes to worse, use your winch?

It's only money right?

One more dumb question, if I just do the rear diff and then the front diff later, as long as I leave the transfer case in 2WD truck should be fine to drive?

I feel like a storm is coming after this post....

Ok fellas, I need to ask for your help and experience. I've got two monthsleft in this sh*t hole they call Afghanistan and I’m starting to get the buyingbug. It's about that time to start a shopping list and purchasing what I will needto add my lift/suspension, wheels, and tires when I get home. Since most of thetime I'll be driving on roads and doing light offloading for hunting/fishing, Idon’t need any crazy expensive high performance kits. I think I'm going to gowith the OME 90000 sport shocks with 885 Coils and a OME DAKAR Leaf Spring set.How does that sound? I need your help coming up with a shopping list of whatI'll need. I'm sure there are some small things like the U-bolt flip that I'llforget to purchase and be waiting on when I'm home and ready to start.

You can always throw some extended stainless braided brake lines in there while you are at it and new upper control arms if your alignment is picky after the lift. Being in the NoVA area I chose the light racing UCAs and they have held up pretty decent with the road salt so far. Wheels/tires wise are your preference really. I have km2s right now and while I love them, they are overkill for me. I'll most likely be going to duratracs after the km2s wear out. The OME kit is a good bet but I've heard people groaning that the dakars seem to be sold out most places. You can try places like Wheelers, Down South, or Toytec. All are vendors here IIRC so maybe there will be discounts.
