Sorry I didn't make it. I was out camping all weekend.

 

Anyone local interested in (4) 265/75/16 KM2's with approximately 17K miles on them? Plenty of life left, only offroaded once or twice with them. Would be asking around $500 OBO and throwing in a used (probably only 5-10K life left) 265/75/16 General Grabber HTS with steel wheel for free as well if the buyer wants it.

They are not available just yet, but will be once I mount my 255's. (possibly up to a month timeframe)

Any recommendations for which Toyota dealership to go to for warranty work? It seems to me as though the front left wheel bearing is starting to go, I'm getting a rhythmic humming from the front left on the highway. I'd like to get it done before the last ~6000 miles of my warranty run out.

 

Could be the needle bearing on the front diff too. I think one way to diagnose is if you put it in 4 hi and it disappears, it is the culprit.

 

Didn't disappear when I threw in 4hi the other day. But I would have them check everything.

Do you have OEM wheels/tires? My passenger side was going out a while back and I replaced both just because I figured if one was going, the other would soon. I also have mud terrains on wheels with 4.5" backspacing.

 

Semi-OEM, I'm running the FJ TRD 16" wheels and slightly large 265/75r16 cooper at3's

 

I dont think they would say anything about that size. Since the FJ wheels are Toyota brand and the tire size is barely different.

 

i replaced my bearings on both sides. most likely its a hub bearing job/...
