Got my bumper and Acro lights on. Huge thanks to John (joneill03) for helping me out. Sorry for shitty picture, the weather and iPhone both suck.

See this thread if you're interested in some parts for sale please.

They're at the bottom of the page. Ronin, with the Dakars, I had the extended lines taught when it was on the ground for about a week until the springs settled. Plus, stainless lines just give the pedal a better feel.

Very nice and clean Josh...I sometimes prefer the look of 1st Gens to 2nd Gens when they're built like this.

Hello everyone. I'm located in Springfield. I have an 2004 prerunner 4 banger extracab, and I'm planning to upgrade this fall to a four door V6 4X4. If there are group meets, I'd be interested in coming out to look at some modified tacomas and get ideas for my own build.

Here is a pick of the silver bullet after a run in with an AARP member who missed a stop sign. Its the only pick I have on hand, but the truck is all better now.

Hey Patrick, one more quick question. Did you install the "driveline bearing drop" that came with the OME kit? Is that the diff drop people talk about? Needed? Thanks man...

diff drop is for the cv's, some people need them some dont its hit or miss. the driveline bearing drop is the cb drop if im not mistaken. cb drop cant hurt but if you are having driveshaft vibes after lifting you definitely need it.

Thanks Matt! I prefer the first gen look too, but there are definitely some go-to set ups that look great on both. Although having a 4 liter would be nice.

I did the driveline bearing drop AKA carrier bearing drop. I'm still not sure if I'm happy with mine. It got rid of the vibrations on take-off but now I have vibes from 60-65.

I'm not a fan of diff drops as they honestly don't make much of a difference unless you get huge spacers, and that eliminates the purpose of the lift and makes it impossible to put a skid plate up front.
