I think I was fairly polite considering all of us as a group were just insulted in what I consider to be the worst manner possible: By somebody unwilling to directly tell me what he thinks about me. (Yes, stewartx, i'm talking about you.)

No offense intended, please. <- This was meant to be accompanied by a visual of me rolling my eyes.

all i have to say is Davtopgun, what does this say about your wife???? afterall she attended one of these meets and wants to do it again. shame on her for wanting to hang out with a bunch of foul mouthed drunken neanderthals.

i feel ashamed of myself for allowing myself to hang out with a group of uneducated unrefined and uncultured monsters like this. but oh well

    Stewartx,

As the host of this meeting and the previous 4 quarterly meets we have had, I feel you have not taken the time to know the people who you have just cast a judgement on. I went back and read the first post and while there is some "foul language" there and mention of alcholic beverages, we are a group of guys that enjoy providing help, assistance, opinions and experiences with other people.

We have never publicized this event as a car show type meet. This is primarily a modification meet where people are expected to be working on their trucks, helping with others, or getting ideas on things they would like to do with their truck. What you see in this forum is what you could consider general garage talk.

When discussions are going on, forum members will generally ask if wives/girlfriends and children are invited. I myself have a new wife and an eleven year old daughter and would tell anyone to bring their wife/girlfriend to this meet. I have always expected and recieved acceptable language and actions from everyone that has attended a meet while my wife and daughter were present. Sure, sometime a slip may occur, but that slip would be immediately covered with others reminding that women and children are present.

Each one of the guys represented in this thread I personally would help at any time of the day or night. I also know that if I needed to call on one of them they would do everything possible to give me a hand. I would introduce them to my mother and sit down and have dinner without a single concern about being embarressed by their actions or speech.

I would still like to invite you to come by and take a look at the trucks we will have present. If the thought of seeing a beer in someone's hand is to much, I would encourage you to come by before 11. I personally would like to see the new 2012's in person and answer any questions you have about modifications that I have on my truck.

I departed with whatever was in the box. That would be lug nuts, spline sockets, hub centric rings and a 21mm socket. Is that what you are looking for or are you missing something else?

the 21mm was what I was talking about. I tore the car apart looking for it just to be sure it hadn't been eaten by the seats.

Excuse me? I don't know you and certainly didn't imply anything about you. If you think otherwise, it's entirely in your own mind.

 If you decide you can bear our awfulness (and Kyle's Justin Bieber-ness) enough to show up, I'll see you there.

I can only base any opinions of an event on what I see. Once again, the first message in this thread does not provide a good impression. No offense was intended. The OP is entirely free to his comments or whatever, just as I'm free to make choices based on that.
