Gulches, SC meet 2

you lucky sob, wish i coulda made it but i worked my ass off for the past 5 days to prepare better for our trip whenever we do make it out there... Might as well just ditch the poll at this point and put some weekends in the thread then decide..anything after this weekend and im game!

 

I think that's a good idea.

Seriously though the conditions were awesome this weekend and the truck did extremely well. Ran several diamonds a couple double black and even a skull and cross. Thought I was going to loose the side of my truck a couple different times but it all worked out.

It would have been great to have a few other trucks to stop a take more pictures but we just ran trail after trail.

IO did heartbreaker which is either a triple black or skull an crossbone anmd also sidewinder....each was one or the other. But those were the 2 "rated" difficult trails i did plus a ton of double blacks and a tree saved me from rolling in one trail that got real off camber and dented my bed other than that ive done decent out there and had tons of fun!

Yea me too, going to be re-building my leafs and doing my shocks like /\ as well as building my rear bumper all within this next week then ill be ready to go!

Was talking to the guys at CFS today and they asked me to go wheelin with them and one has never been to gulches so ill talk to them about it tomorrow, i know on the 19th they are going to a mud run in florida. so porbably the next weekend maybe, that should give me time to finish my rear leafs and lower balljoints too so ill post tomorrow if i get on here what day/weekend they wanna go or can go and if i cant get on ill shoot a text to one of you guys o post it in here for me

Talked to Jason today at cfs and he said he really wanted to go since he hasnt been to Gulches yet and he is going to bring his huge ass heep, but said he is busy every weekend the rest of this month so im going to set a date sometime early-mid next month if thats fine with yall. He said he would give me a deffinate date but Im going to Uwharrie next month 8-10 if anyone wants to goto that as well then hit gulches a week or two later

 

Screw it, I'm going before the end of may... So if you want to go then post a weekend that's good for you, the majority vote will take it.

 

June 16th is the day, if you guys bitch out or no one can make it then ill save my mula for my trip to bama in july!

I meant to text you back the other day after i got off work. I've got a weekend of work for me next weekend working on my TJ and welding some things up for a friend of mine to mount a bumper on his 00 4runner. As long as i can get sliders built that weekend too i'll be at Gulches June 30th for Chris May Day.

They are having a night ride this saturday if anyone is trying to go out to that they're night rides are usually fun. I know a good many people that will be out there but i have to work all weekend.
