    dam it. I'm gone for like 2 days and the # of pages in this tread double. Had emergency surgery. Apparently my appendicitis wasn't happy. sucks, not gonna be able to drive my tacoma for almost a week!!!

    Ended up changing the front brakes on the Taco yesterday. Anyone ever use the Autozone premium "ceramic" brake pads ? :rolleyes:

    I have heard they damage rotors over time, I've never used them so :notsure:

    Gotcha... Not too worried about the rotors at this point. They'll need changed at the next brake pad changing anyway, in which I'll upgrade everything to something above OEM, or at least the pads and replace the rotors with OEM ones if I can't find an upgrade. I wasn't expecting them to be so close to the backing plate when I checked them, so I decided on the best cheapy pads for now. I'll order some Hawks or something equivalent for the future.

    Nah... That's what I find the most of... I don't care for the mesh... Trying to find the bar type.

    edit: Like the one on JLee's truck. I asked him where he got it, but he never answered.
