    8k is good for a Tacoma. I just went overboard. Keep in mind though, I only paid $400 for mine. Waterproof, 10,500lb, wireless remote, synthetic line.

    I see it. With shipping and all though the total cost is close to $480. I'm already going to be out a ton on the front bumper I think. Dave, I know I asked you this a million times, but can you give a link to who you got your bumper from?

    Keep in mind though, it took him 4 months to get mine to me and it wasn't exactly as ordered, nor did he include the parts he said he would, and his customer service is absolutely terrible. He will lie to you constantly, to get off the phone with you.

    I would suggest going with a better company, unless you just have to have that bumper.

    I am looking at two different vendors on TW that sell a DIY kit. They cut the steel, bend it all to shape, then box it up and ship it. Then I take all the parts and weld it together. Not a bad deal considering the DIY kits are from $300 to $400 cheaper than the fully assembled ones. I am looking at two really nice plate bumpers that are only about $400-$475 in the DIY kit.

    Yeah. Since I can weld I can save myself a ton of money. I just will need to get me a couple pieces of plate steel and do some practicing. It has been a few years since I did any large welding.

    Question for everyone: Is there anyone with a 2nd gen that has a moderate to severe driveshaft vibration that you are sure is in the driveshaft, and not due to angle of the pinion or tires/wheels?

    Interesting.. I ordered mine and after two weeks I called and he said it had gotten mixed up with shipments and didn't make it out but talked to me on the phone a good while an was very helpful and when it arrived he added accessories I didn't ask for for the complications, I also got mine within 4 days..
