Actually Alex, ANYTHING that lifts the front of a Tacoma will offset the alignment. What is does is changes the toe of the front wheels. It changes them the exact same on each side, so you don't notice it in the steering wheel, but it does alter the toe-in some.

Good idea! Then you only have to get it aligned once.

are you running spacers front and rear?? cuz those are the regular rugged trail black wheels that are 16x7's with the standard 5.3" BS and they stick out like crazy!!!

I think it's because he doesn't have the flares on the truck. It just looks like they are sticking out.

Wheel spacers help tear up the front end also.

has anyone attempted the projector lights? i'd like to try it will halos as well. don't really want to mess it up. but how i want it is have the halos light up behind the shroud so that when the halos are on it lights up the reflector (mainly for looks and when not driving). want them to light up red. ideas?

Projectors can be done, but it does get a little expensive. If you are interested I could probably build you a set. Will have to look into it. Kinda is like a "how much you wanna spend" kind of deal though. I have seen projector conversions for the 2nd gen that are in the $500 range!

i know it can be done. i'd rather not pay the $500 for someone else to do it. plus i'd like to try it just don't want to spend the $300 for a kit and F something up. this is something i'm going to see about a bday gift or christmas gift. on christmas note...BAMF is having a sell on all fab stuff they make and their sliders are going for $250 i believe maybe more. i forget. but pretty cheap. almost bought them but thought about christmas gifts for others...
And also i have to buy plane tickets...that is going to SUCK!!

Plane tickets to see family or bring them to you never suck. It's always a good thing! :D But yes, I do see your point. I have seen some Projector kits brand new for the 2nd gen on Ebay for a reasonable price, with halo. Might look into them.

Ok Bama boys, I have a few small mods I am doing over Thanksgiving break. One of which is installing clear headlights. I've done this 3 different times in the past, one of which was on my old truck. My question is, is there an easy way(other than peeling back the wheel well fire wall and just stretching my arm up there getting my arm all cut to hell) to get to the bottom screw of the headlight that is closest to the wheel well? Or is it just the red headed step child that is the PITA like all minor modifications seem to be?
