Yeah, The rocks were steeper and almost every approach I would have put a tire in soft dirt and one on a rock. I would have been screwed by an open diff. I did enough bouncing and bumping with my open axle that i didn't wanna risk blowing it up.

Got my new bumper on finally. Its a Savage Offroad bumper that is a slightly older model with a winch mount. Got it from a guy in TN for $180!! Fresh paint and were good to go.

How bad was it? Not gonna lie... it did look pretty weaksauce on video. :p

Just giving you a hard time, the couple of spots you had to reset the line it looked like minimally a rear locker, for sure front, would have made a big difference.

yeah, it was a lot of rocks and soft dirt. I could have handled taller rocks as clearance wasn't my issue but you are correct, I did have to reset my line to approach rocks at a perpendicular line so I could get the same grip at both wheels. I would have attempted the harder route if I had sliders and a front locker. I don't wanna drop to hard on the rocker panels of a unibody.

Yeah, makes sense to me. which brings up a question that I've never pondered before... how do you go about putting a set of sliders on a unibody?

cherokee's are the only sfa jeeps with unibodys. You bolt the sliders directly to the "frame". It has a "frame" per say, its just a thinner material and welded to the body. You use the rigidity of the body to help reinforce the "frame". It really isn't a hindrance at all until you talk about chopping up body panels to fit bigger tires.

If I had to choose a "dream" wheel-able and relatively daily driveable vehicle it would be the JKU's. 2.5" lift, chop the fenders, and slap 37's under it with ease. Not to mention the extreme aftermarket available to them.

Some good pictures and videos so far. I hope the laptop will get itself sorted out soon. I saved all the files off the camera to it, and now it is throwing fits when trying to transfer them. I will have mine up hopefully this weekend. So anyone have video of me in the longer mud trail? I really wanted that on video.

Alex, I don't know what happened to that video. I think I hit the off button on accident. I coulda swore I got the whole thing on video

Paul, you didn't wait for me to get to you and video on both times. Kyle might have yours, IDK.

As for getting video of Bill, I didn't have the camera....
