    anybody know what the problem is with my aunts 4runner? its an 04. 4wd light keeps flashing with vsc and trac lights on as well. shifts really funny. went to stealership and says she needs new t-case ($4000). from what ive found its just the actuator is locked up and she just needs to put into 4hi while in neutral to let the gears engage on their own and that should fix it. been about a year since shes used 4wd so that is what im thinking. any other ideas? if it needs a new t-case i wouldnt be surprised has near 200k on it.

    Since it is a hybrid and very open compared to a full plate bumper it looks like it will work swimmingly with the new front end. Lighter than a full plate and is obtainable in two pay days...should do the trick for me.
