I was waiting for a parking spot. BOOM! Lady backed into me.

She claims I backed into her while she was parking.

Some random lady said WE backed into eachother!!!?? WTF -

So her insurance says Contributory Neglegence. ... Claimed that we BOTH were lying and that the witness was telling the truth.

My company said, the way I told it made the most sense and said it was NOT my fault. All the pictures supported my claim as well. People these days.

Generally what happens in a parking lot fender bender. Its technically not on the road and therefore no "legal" way to assume liability or something like that.

The best thing to do is get the parking lot footage from the store manager and try to leverage her insurance company. They will most likely take it to court though.

There isn't any. I checked. Also, my dash cam was OFF at the time since I was NOT moving. Crazy position I am in. The lady is 70! She had medication bags and a walker/ cain in the front seat. When I was asked if there were drugs or alcohol involved, I chuckled and said, "YES!, I saw them in her front seat!" - the interviewer was speachless at that point. Told her I had pics of it too.

    Bunch of liars!!!!

As fas as the legal way to figure it out. If it didn't happen on the road, then we don't care. I dislike how much paperwork there is for the insurance companies as it is. Serious injury is one thing, most others are something else

Either way, everyone was OK and insurance is there for a reason. In this case, I was boned, but now a HCRB might come of it. Like most things, I just brushed it off and moved on. Nothing more to really do about it. Going through life upset all the time is rough on the soul, mind, and body.

    How have you been, Ben/?

Ready to finish my week. T-1:06 to go! They gave me a face camera last week. I have already racked up two COD/MOH videos. Looked pretty awesome. Also got a confession for another felony case.

But back on topic, I spent my HCRB money on a new mountain bike. 29er's are the shizzle!!

I think when I get my HCRB, I'll get a swing out bike carrier instead of a tire carrier
