So it took 6 tanks to air up 1 tire? Is 130 psi the max for you setup? I'm curious how much different that would be for the Viair systems running 200 psi in the tank.

This was for pure testing purposes...using a Porter Cable pancake compressor as my "tank"

6 fills of a 1 gallon tank @ 130PSI. I let them equalize and considered that a fill. So truly not using the full gallon of air per say. That is with no compressor kicking on. The whole compressor being backlogged by the tank isn't going to happen unless you've got a real slow compressor. a 4 or 5 gallon tank at 200 PSI is many more "gallons" of air then a 1 gallon tank @ 130psi.

Maybe I will test out my friends setup against mine one of these days. He has dual Viair's (not sure which ones, might be 480C's) and built a 3 gallon tank out of PVC fills it to 200 psi.

Regarding the issues on 757Toyato4x4 had a long talk with Josh and cleaned up the BS on there.

I think AaronArf nailed it, it is salvageable, the trolls got out of hand and the open group policy allowed the rif-raf in.

Josh is willing to listen and appreciates input. Jake and Linwood, he really likes your opinions. Give them to him.

I quoted from this thread so you had the link to it:rolleyes: haha

For the record, I love to debate stuff like this, because you can really push on people and make them dig and get good answers as to why they run what they do. I may come off aggressive/stubborn (If I do sorry I don't mean to be) but it definitely works for learning I think and can help answers all sorts of different questions others may have.

Just thought of this, bout a month ago dude pulled up to me while i was getting gas in a new bmw m3, and not just an ordinary m3, this dude put ALOT of money into it by the look and sound of it, wanted to buy my truck right there. When i said nah i dont think so amd asked why hed get rid of such a nice car he laughed and said oh im not i just want a tacoma and i love yours. I said no and he drove off and i sat there thinking damn, either i could have just pocketed alot of cash or he woulda lowballed the fuck out of me. Kickin myself for not throwing out a steep number to see what he woulda said

It's a single with no tank. 5 trucks up from 18-20psi I think.

I'm really not sure. Need to pull it off the fender and check it out this week. Mostly just pissed at myself for not telling people to pound sand and pay the air machine.
