Also anybody have a nest thermostat?

 

Gimmick you'll use for awhile and forget about. They look cool though. Just get a timer thermostat and set your days of the week accordingly.

Edit : some utility companies even give programmable thermostats for free if you ask/request one.

 

Need to either get a bedrack kit ordered or put in an order for one built locally before the 1st.

Not going to do me any good sitting in the spare room.

 

Good to have options. Got a guy in NN who can weld it together once I have the pieces, and if ANB will set it up the way I want I'll probably just go that route. $425 shipped and then a case of beer for my buddy and I'll be set. Would still rather have it made out of Aluminum though.

May give my dad's top shop guy a call before I pull the trigger. Would rather spend an extra 2-300 bucks and not have to worry about rust.

 

Good idea....considering that's what you'd spend for powder coat.

Might try to wire up my switch inside the cab today for my D2's. Where are you guys tapping into your dimmer circuit? I know some guys use the shifter light but I'm mounting the switch on the left hand side near the trac/inverter factory switch. Gotta be an easy wire around there.

 

I'm lost what are you trying to do?

 

For the independent light on the Carling switches, you can tap into your factory dimmer circuit. (Comes on when you turn headlights on) The dependent indicator comes on when you switch power to whatever it is that your switching.

 

yep, hood mounts are where my D2's are. Both of those are pretty quick mods,shouldn't take too long! what kind of tubing are you using for your rear diff?

 

Been using some Plastidip spray, and the nozzels have gotten clogged. One can came that way. Anything I can soak them in that won't melt the nozzels?

 

Paint thinner, acetone, gas...

 

Anybody thats considering the Eddy rack please do a little research before buying. Looks like some members had some possible issues this year with him.

 

Think there are two different eddies. One from SC as far as I know is cool, dude making soft toppers is not

Wiring.

I want to do a clean install and minimize rework for future expansion.

Anyone think this is overboard?

Run a dedicated power wire ~14-16G thats on a relay off a 12v "ign" source from under the hood to inside the cab for all of my aftermarket switches 12v power.

Then run a multi-conducter jacketed 8 or 10 "trigger" wire set up from my switches location in the cab to under the hood for future expansion for more relays.

= Clean install and easy installation of more stuff

 

Or just do S-Pod
