Hello all! I am looking for some input from you all Virginians!! I just purchased a 15 DCLB and sadly let my dealer install a lift as I live in rural area and trusted them to do it. I am experiencing the dreaded vibes/ rumble strip roaring between 25-45. I am looking at doing the ECGS bushing to remedy. Do any of you know a reputable shop that has experience with this install? I am trying not to make the 3 1/2 to 4 hour trip to ECGS directly. Thanks in advance!!!

Are you sure it's the front diff and not the driveshaft? Did the dealer install a carrier bearing drop?

I am not mechanical at all. They did not install a carrier bearing drop. They did install a differential drop. From what I have read that does not do much at all and it also could cause other issues on this generation. I unfortunately should have done more research on the lift aspect before purchase. The dealers response is that they have not has this issue and that I could take it back to stock to eliminate the issue. I have since sold my stock tires/wheels, shocks and springs. I am loving the truck just need to elimiate this issue. I can not see a 2 1/4 inch lift being that detrimental to the vehicle.

From everything I have read if the noise goes away in 4HI the ECGS is what is needed to eliminate that? I have read on others that have installed a carrier bearing drop but does that too help with this issue?

Factory Service manuals on the way........I'll see what all it takes to replace the rear axle seal. My biggest concern is a press to remove the axle bearing and seal sleeve.
