Negative, that did sound confusing. $35 per adult for weekend camping, $55 per vehicle for off roading.

So 2 adults and a truck its $125 for the weekend.

 

Found an old beater fzj 80. Figured I would worry about reliability unless I put it back together myself. Needs love. I expect to pull the motor and start the rebuild there, then fix the paint and two tone it with bedliner, 35's, armor lift lockers and hard shell rtt. With any luck I can get the cruiser where I want it with a budget of 15-17k and I can get what I want for the truck and mods to put cash back into savings.

OK... so many know, the plan for my wife and I was to do one more winter up here in NY, buy a 5th wheel, 2500 HD truck, retire and hit the road. Well... we just got done with a 2.5 week, 6K mile romp around the country (did not see a crunched taco in Moab!) and it changed our plans.

We love AZ!!!! Get this... if it is not private property, and not posted, you can go on it. See a dirt road, turn off, take a ride, camp if you like! Stay up to 4 days! So, Keeping the Taco, and no more winters! PreRunner will do well in the desert, and it's a very active group as well! Who knows, Maybe I'll find a spot with enough land to host a big chunk of VA Taco's with free camping!!!!

Yeah, Big Dogs is expensive but I loved it. Lots of trails, wide range of difficulty, showers, a berm to shoot at, and a great event to meet a lot of people (just ask Brent; you'll meet ppl weather you like it or not ).
