two closest place that i know of that has real wheeling is The Cove, In Gore, VA.

Google maps says Tidewater to Gore is 3 hours 18 minutes.

next farthest places are George washington national forest, probably inthe 4 hour range, and then rausch creek, which is going to be about 5 hours away. Im not as familiar with the placeces in North Carolina, so there may be places semi close down there.
