**South Carolina Meet Dec-15-2012**

thats what i was thinking. most fishing around here is not worth a damn, from about this time till mid late march. lake water is already in the upper 50’s i think. will be getting pretty cold the next week or so. with that hurricane temps here are in the low 50’s. high 49 tomorrow(today) so water will really be cooling down.

 

I don't think I would bother with my $30 rod/reels from Walmart. They might get used once or twice a year.

 

x2. i try and do it every year. some say it does not mater. and it way not. but i know heat and sun (time transporting and fishing/casting) is not good for it. also i bet rubbing on stuff under water, like tree limbs or what ever can’t be good.

 

Forgive my ignorance but what do the fish do in the winter....use body fat to survive.

 

i would suspect they don’t swim around much and cut their eating down. some may even die. i don’t really know.

 

Well...if fishin' stinks in the winter we gotta find something else to do at the meet I guess.

 

mud sound good. i like mud..... maybe a little to much considering how bad i got the rhino stuck last time.

 

I know what you mean....a winch bumper is next on my wish list.

 

i have plains for one.

fyi. yes thats me in the video. got it in about 30” of sand and water. manual says not to go deeper than 14"

 

Jeff....any good places to eat in Winnsboro? That is the closest town to the meet area, I believe.
