Spent the day running some trails in Land Between the Lakes today with a friend of mine in his 91 before he moves to Florida next week. Chased to with some time at the range. Vroom vroom and boom boom is a good thing.

That's awesome. I've never been to lbl. I really want to check it out. I only hear good things about it. But it's a drive for me coming from lexington. How difficult do the trails get out there? Is it something's a rig could do easily without lockers?

Everything at lbl is mild. You could do all the trails in 2wd

All my years running around down there I think of only three times I had to use the four wheel drive, and only once was I legitimately stuck. And it was just because it was washed out and I high centered on my rear axle and trailer hitch in a 15 year old stock truck.

There are multiple groups for different classes of rigs. The ride will be on some private land, as well as National forest lands as always. There is a cookout afterwards at the end of the day, and a $20 donation per rig is requested. These are great rides, supporting a great cause, so come out and be a part of it.

The fire department is right beside highway 11, just at the end of Zoe church loop.

From the pics I seen it looked like all jeeps to me too. I'd like to go to the charity ride but I believe I'm installing my lift on the FJ that day.

The ky Krawlers stocker ride was about 20 jeeps. I met those guys at the meeting spot before they hit the trail! I'm not sure whole all hit the cleanup ride! I know a couple Yotas was there and a couple samis!
