I'm just giving you a hard time dude. I know of a few guys who just stay in 2wd until they get stuck (which is surprisingly rare) then pop in 4wd to get out. I just stay in 4wd the entire time I go wheeling. And an elocker does alot. I wish I had one!!

I only have my recovery strap to pull jeeps out. I have honestly only had to use it on a grand Cherokee and an f150 haha

Bumpers are very expensive but I think they are very worth it. I can't tell you how many times I've nearly had a collision but in my mind I confidently think "I'll be ok if this guy hits me, just hope he makes it" plus, you can't put a price on safety. Not to mention the joy of getting to look at a killer armored yota in the driveway everyday. I say buy those bumpers!!

Hey guys can you give me a bit of no bullshit information? I live in NC have been here since I came into the military in 99 except for leaving for training and deployments. My wife has been offered a job at UofK Medical Center in lexington and we have been looking for farms ect in a doable commute. Here at Fort Bragg/ Fayetteville area shootings nightly, lots of crime just really a trashy place to live. We found one farm we are really interested in is just outside of Ravenna and Richmond. Seems that the area is pretty nice low crime ect. Rate your state. What do you like about kentucky what do you dislike? My wife is from Ohio near Ashland Kentucky I am from Missouri originally. I like peace and quiet, in a place where people wont bother me and I can shoot my rifles and pistols.

i’m not in KY, i’m down closer to knoxville. but i know at least on i-75 traffic is not all that bad. we pass thru on our way to NY about once a year. don’t ever get off really. unless we really need something, and that rare since it’s only about 1h a way.

cool. if you do look around the Andersonville/clinton/norris/ oak ride area. may look as far as lafollette, but i’d try and stay around Adersonville/clinton/norris area. close enough to Knoxville when you need to go the mall or do shopping, but far enough a way, you got some freedom. it’s a little bit farther north but still not bad crime. it’s about 25 min or so north of knoxville and not much crime other then some drugs, but knoxville has that bad as well. and that is a good area to have a little bit of land(5 acres or more maybe)

I think Norris has had like 1 murder in that i know of, and i’m 21, so very low crime.

what part of PA is she in?

Lexington area is nice. But it sounds like you may like the smaller towns around lexington better. Georgetown is very nice. Richmond has a college so for a small town it has a decent young population. I've never liked Winchester and nicholasville is a nice small town just outside lexington. Just my .02
