If that's the plan I'll try to meet up with you folks. I'll have to work Saturday during the day but I'll be off Sunday.

Hello, everyone I'm new to the area just moved to Frankfort, KY from Alabama. My rear axle seals are blown. I know how to do the job but I've got nowhere to do it myself so I'm looking for a reputable shop to do the work. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Here's my truck.

I've never been to Turkey Bay, but I've ran a lot of the fire roads in LBL. I'm not a hardcore off road guy but I've enjoyed my limited experience so far. Oh, btw, I recently got my Tacoma, I'm coming from a 4runner. I wired in a switch on the 4runner to disable the nanny modes, can I do that with my 08 TRD Off-Road Tacoma? Is it hte same harness on the brake booster? I haven't even looked yet but I need to do that before I go out there. My lift is coming in tomorrow afternoon, installing it Friday morning, then I have to go get my wheels and tires mounted up whenever I have time. I'll be ready to roll after that.

I agree, from Central KY it's a long drive. From Lexington, I can hit Royal Blue WMA down in TN in 2 hours and 20 minutes. LBL looks awesome but it's a long haul.

It's hard to get motivated to go to LBL when you can take a day trip to Red River Gorge and various other places.

Anytime you wanna take a trip to Slade/ Red River Gorge give me a yell, I'm 15 minutes from there and always ready to wheel. I've been to lbl hunting and it's outta the question for me having to trailer mine for what little wheeling there is there.

Cool you rode with Hyter today. Looks like you got towed on the trail going up to Stump Cave. Hyter messaged me but I ended up wrenching on mine and got a few things to take care of this week.

It can be a locker winch trail if you don't have enough flex for those holes. If you look on a map that is an official county road. Sand Lick Rd.

what part is That? Is that the first group of mud holes after stump cave heading toward south fork entrance, or is it from Ashley Lease Rd, at the second fork to the right. and the nasty hill climb is on the right. I go up their all the time and i cant tell from that pic.

We've got a four day coming up for Columbus Day. Was thinking of checking out stump cave. Am i able to just pitch a tent anywhere and camp? Also, any problem bringing my dogs? I know some parks don't allow dogs. Thanks

Yeah pretty much you can pitch a tent wherever up there. Some people have camped in Stump but that's kinda at your own risk since some of the local drunks party there late at night. Yeah bring your dogs along. It's not really a park yet and Stump is actually private land anyways. Give me a heads up when your coming and I'll help you out. I live in the area.

Moving out of KY in 2 weeks and still have a front swaybar for free in case anybody needs one. It goes in the trash if nobody claims it. Also posting in the free section.
