Haha. If i say something about it's my truck, she'll throw the insurance thing at me. And if i say something about buying something for the truck, she throws the "then you have money to pay rent". It's a lose-lose situation.

cant do it with out replacing your uca's they'll never allign and youre cv axle will probabl have a such extreme angle it will pop apart when you hit the first bump.
plus your stock uca's will probably hit your tire,

    only options
    1. change your UCA's
    2. get lift spindles

I have wheel spacers, tire isn't near the UCAs. What's the deal with the UCAs not aligning and the CV axle at the angle? Never really hard much about that.

You don't have cv axles because you don't have 4wd and when you stack lifts it put more tension on certain parts anything over 2.5" make sit harder to keep your alignment within stock specs that's why most people but uni all ucas so they can have more adjustability with alignments

As well as having more adjustability the stock UCAs can/will hit the coils.

Okay so I don't need to worry bout cv axles. So if i were to go with this extra 1" lift in the front, i'd have to replace my UCAs to aftermarket?

Not necessarily. I had OME 886/nitrochargers with stock UCAs for a while but it is recommended.

it wont allign at all, you'll be throwing the ucas into such an extreme angle it will probably pop the ball joing out and drop completly.

i was looking at the maxtrac again last night and i cant pull it off since my wife just got a layoff slip Friday. So heres the new plan and it will work for you too, Wheelers have a Camburg UCA with out the ball joint for 329 BUY it, take your stock one off, take it to a shop and have them remove the factory ball joint and press it into the new Camburg take it home and reinstall it.

Or go with Light racing UCA they come with all new stuff for 300-400, but after reading the guys post who says hes broke 3 in a row i dont think i want those anymore.

You wouldn't have to but your just going to run into issues doing it. Just lift it the right way man no need to be cheap about it

I don't think it would be too much of a problem, of course I know i'd have to replace the down the road like everything else, but I honestly don't do any hardcore off roading other than just mud 1-2 a month if even that.
The truck is a mall crawler.

Well the more you use the springs, the quicker it will settle. Offroading with stuff in the bed will make it quicker.

And I don't know how much.
