The bushings are one thing, and I hear they can be a bitch, but the ball joints bolt in. 2 bolts.

Yea, or cut out, then pressed in. I've seen a Jerry rig of all thread, nuts, and washers used. I need to replace mine as well. The lca bolts are seized.

I still have nightmares about the home made bottle jack press in a friend of mines shop. That damn thing should have just been used to fire projectiles because that's all it really did well. Good Luck

Tires fell through, guy had a cl showing eastern nc and he lived in northern VA. No thanks on a 6 hour round trip on Saturday morning. I am going to try to pick up a pair of UCA bolts today or tomorrow just in case getting the stock ones out proves to be too much and they need to be cut. Everything else except the rear shocks are sitting in the man cave. Still need to decide on the tires too. Pondering the maxxis bighorns and goodyear mtr or km2 still. My sunday is wide open though!

I've seen them get burned out too. I have to replace my upper bushings and the instructions I've seen were to drill and cut them out. Burning is messy but you reduce the risk of cutting into the ringseat with a saw.

Search youtube for burning out a bushing. It's common practice. No projectiles too.

Here is another cool idea if you have a big enough C clamp.

I am not too worried about getting them out to be honest, I figure there is very little chance I will need to cut them off. Just my ocd kicking in so I don't end up looking parts on a sunday afternoon. All this waiting for parts has me jumpy. Since the rears wont make it in till the end of next week or later I will just swap that out when it gets here. So if we do this sunday other than the obvious parts, what else do I need to bring with me?
