Winches are there to help your buddies as much or more than they are to help yourself. Same with the rest of tools and recovery gear.

Is it an actual snatch strap? The elastic kind? Or just a tow strap that you've snatched on? I actually need to get a real snatch strap and some TREDs

Don't feel bad Scott, I probably ain't going.

Don't think I posted it in here but my frame failed inspection Monday afternoon. Paper work has been sent to Corporate Toyota. Now gotta wait. My dealer said they should replace the frame. Could be anywhere from 4-7 months.

But you got to admit, it was more exciting that way. I've heard you complain URE is too easy, but not that day.

Did you f up your locker when you dragged me up the hill after high centering? I kept wondering when/if crazy Eddy was gonna stop so I could unhook!

Uses the same ring and pinion. And I don't trust any LSD to actually work when you need it to. If you need an LSD offroad, you need a locker. They're great in street CARS, not so much offroad

Just how long is this recall good for? It's amazing to me they are still replacing them. Go Toyota

I didn't say it was good. Hardly notice it except when I take a corner too quick and skip the inside tire a lil. Let's me know it is working. I have yet to feel it working offroad. Give me mud and I'm as open as every other non OR.
That said, it does make them different.

Yes but the ring and pinion, the normal failure point, is the same
