Shoe Creek, VA Fall 2013

Looks like 12 October is when we'll be heading up there. I'll be rolling in after work on the 11th and as of right now leaving on the morning of the 13th.

I'm gonna head up there this weekend but it looks like one of the October dates works well.

 

I'm gonna roll in Friday night after work and either hike Crab Tree or The Priest on Saturday.

 

May see you up there! Taking the wife out Friday afternoon, camp over night, and then head back Saturday afternoon for the M&G at Quaker State.

 

You camping on Shoe Creek trail? If so, I'll keep an eye out when I roll through.

 

Same here. I know there's a nice camp spot a little ways after the first or second creek crossing that butts up to the creek.

 

I'm game for anything but the weekend of Oct 13th.

 

Haven't been up there before so I will just see what looks good. Linwood mentioned same spot so I hope I find it.

 

If it's the same one I'm thinking of it's up a steep climb and will be on the left hand side. I'll keep an eye out for you, probably won't be rolling through there until after 2000.

 

Well I'm gonna go up on 12 Oct, want to space it out from Matt's meet up at the Toyota dealership.

 

Out on this weekend, got told we are working Saturday

 

So Oct. 12th it is. I will do my best to be there

 

Count me out for the 12th. I'm running the Towpath Marathon in Ohio.

Been wanting to run Shoe Creek ever since I moved to Virginia. Never made it down while I had a 4x4. Now I'm running a new Pre-Runner -- is the trail 4x2 friendly (stock Dueler H/T tires)? Yeah, I know...too broke to swing the extra cash for 4x4, sorry guys...
