I didn't see a thread for this region so I figured I'd start one! (if there is one, please let me know!)

I don't live in the area anymore but was in Blacksburg for 5 years (VT class of '12/'13) and my girlfriend lives in Wytheville/has family in Bland and Smyth counties. Between visiting her family and my friends still at school, I'm in the area a decent amount and would love to meet some people. I know i've seen some modded tacos around the area.

If you are in the region, come say hi!

I'm not actually from the area, but I went to the and lived there for 5 years/still go down about once a month or so. I know I see about 5000 tacos when in down in the area, so they're definitely there lol just no one on this site apparently :(

Check out the Harrisonburg/Roanoke/Lynchburg area thread. I'm on my phone right now otherwise I'd link it for you. You're not too horribly far from those guys!

I'll give it a little bump. I'm from Smyth county. I go over to Tazewell and wheel a lot and there's a bunch of SAS trucks over that way but none of those guys are on here.

I know a girl or 2 from up Radford/Christiansburg and have a few friends up that way but I've not been up there in a long time.

They seem pretty serious out that way....I've been a long time lurker of the forum, but truck sits fairly well stock at the moment. The only trail I know of locally here is near mountain lake and it's mostly just mud depending on when you go.

Anyone know of local shops or places to get work done, currently not equipped to take on some of the mods I'm wanting?

Anyone know of any spots in the area to get a little muddy? I've done Mountain Lake once and it was alright. Had just gotten the truck and didn't have anyone with me so I didn't do a whole lot of exploring but thought I'd see if you guys knew of any other areas.

Broad Run Road in Craig County is a great spot and not too far off.

Where's it located in Craig? I worked with the forest service out there 4 years ago but it doesn't ring a bell.

Head up 311 towards New Castle. About 2 miles before town on the right hand side of the road you will see Broad Run Road. It's shortly before you hit where the old Hunter's Den was just on the opposite side of the road.
