So we have been talking about this trip for a while over Facebook and in the SC BS thread, so I figured I'd make an official thread with all the info and whatnot.

I'm driving up Dec. 12 and camping for the weekend, but hotels are an option as well if thats what anyone wants to do.

Windrock is located in Oliver Springs, Tennessee

They do charge for land use, for 2 days of use it is $33 a person

Camp sites inside the park are $16 for 2 people per night
    CALL 865-435-1251 FOR RESERVATIONS
TENTS ONLY! NO ENCLOSED TRAILERS, POP-UP CAMPERS, ETC.
    No generators.
Limit of 6 people per site.
Limit of 2 tow vehicles per site.
Limit of 2 small tents (2 person occupancy) or 1 large tent per site.

Wheeling wise I guess first night there we can hash out what trails we run and in what order and everything, or just do so in this thread. Obviously if this trip gets to be more than a few trucks we can split up into groups and people can run the trails they want based upon capability.

List of People in for the trip (Number of people in truck)

    3. EddyRRT
    4. Suttonkb???

    6. SGTCap???
    7. Dj318 (1)
    8. Coast2Coast Yotas (1)
    9. drunktaco (1)

Feel free to add yourself to this list if you plan on coming.

If you don't feel comfortable wheeling but want to come out anyways I'm sure there will be extra seats available, I know I will have one.

Thread to pictures from a trip earlier this year

    I'm in.

Do we need to call our reservation? Or think there will be sites open?

Their website says to call, so I would do that. They have something like 75 sites.

See if you can get the site number (if they number them) that way we can all try to get our sites together

No problem and not all the trails are that crazy we only touched a little of the park. Plenty of trails for everyone. Wish I could make this one but I can't afford to break anything haha
