Notice the red FJ40 with the tubed rear end that ends up on it's cage in the same spot.

Yeah, I didn't feel like explaining the difference haha. Tube vs pipe, plate vs sheet, it's all semantics unless you are actually doing the design. I would use at least 1.75 if you want to put an expo tent on the top. Assuming the weight of gear and people and structure, you'd be looking at around 800lbs

 

You say that... pretty sure there's a guy on pirate4x4 that used EMT conduit for a roll cage.

It's all good Bill. You got your own going on as well. Wish I could start pictures of it and show the progress but it's in the shop. I'll start pictures and a build thread on it as soon as I get it back.

 

Alex is getting the software on his computer for free... I think. I think Bill was wanting a copy of it though

 

well got the last of the 2nd gen stuff sold yesterday now i just need to truck to sell. and installed some red interior dome lights in the 1st gen today they look kickass!

 

oops It will be fixed soon, i just wont get a front locker and i will be able to afford it.
