    Even with the new design?
I changed my mind. I might as well go with the BFG A/T's for 4 dollars more in the total price.

Just by looking at the pattern, i would say yes. The reason the bfg at ko's are so good is the diamond pattern allows for the tread to be close together (on the corners of the diamonds) for good on road driving, as well as far apart (in the center of each pattern) for good off-road grip.

Those tires you posted have little distance between the tread giving them good on road, and bad off-road. Now, I'm no tire expert. This is just what I've learned about tires in the last 20 years that I've been offroading.

So me and my youngest headed out to Bankhead National forest this weekend to do some hiking along the Sipsey river. Since I didn't get off work until noon, it was 3 before we even got started down the trailhead of #209. The river was WAY low. The usual beautiful water was slowly flowing along, and was about 3 feel low. We ran into a few "caves" for lack of a better term, and a few waterfalls that were really not much more than a trickle.

    IMAG0231_e372912714a251af25f5f5d631d9a0a3ce02a93c.jpg

The first day we went about 3 miles in, and found a real nice campsite area at the base of one of the larger, more popular waterfalls. Again, it was not more than a trickle, but the experience and family time made it well worth it.

The temperature was forcast to hit 107 I was told, and it felt like it! We were in about 70% humidity, and as you can tell, even just a few miles will make you lose about 5 pounds of water weight!

    IMAG0235-1_7768f20682a6514be47fd3353ef1bf0889f5fba7.jpg

It was not dark yet, but getting close, so we set up camp and enjoyed the river. It was about 3 feet deep at the most, but after a few hours of hiking, it was VERY refreshing. We ate dinner and just hung out together and played word games until 10pm.

So we woke up to a slight chill that went away FAST, but what a view to look out when you open the tent!!!

    IMAG0250_09c3449f0020fd5b9f9ac79d608772919f2ba14e.jpg

Afterwards, we went another 2 more miles to look around, then came back, broke camp, and packed it out! Total of 8 miles. We had a great time and are looking forward to doing this again in the Fall when the water level should be better. We have even talked about maybe canoeing down the river and setting up camp as we go down!

    Had a great time though!

Good choice! I would, but no point with the truck being gone soon.

Didn't take any pics, it's a tan 2000 single cab. Nothing special.

Bill, looks like you had a great time! Thats awesome!

Well I was asking about being a vendor on TW, even though I don't sell or fabricate stuff. They figured instead of a vendor status (since I am local) they are giving me my own thread. So check me out in the Southeast region, unless they relocate it!

Checked out your thread. That should get you a some hits. You should add the picture of Dave's and Gator's tacomas in your shop. I also think you need to get rid of the picture of a frontier on the lift and put a Tacoma up there instead.

Yeah, that picture is an old one from when the shop just opened. It is my brothers Frontier. I will have to post those pics. Maybe Dave and Gator will post it themselves when they get on this thread.

Well of course! I have to put the TC info there!
