WOW! Glad to hear you are ok, and I second that: WTF happened? Doesn't look like the train hit you going too fast. I mean yeah, it's totaled, but I think you are lucky he wasn't going faster!

Where I live there is a bad curve the train goes past my house I stopped at the stop sign and looked never saw anything proceeded across and hear the horn right before the train struck the truck and drug me 540 feet

Glad to know that your ok. The train should have been blowing his horn right before he struck you. Not saying he did or anything.

Glad to know you are ok. Hell of a hit on both sides. Noticed the driver side slider bent up, but it looks like the frame connections held strong. I'd try to pull that winch and grill if you could.

I personally would look into how many times they are suppose to blow there horn when coming up on any intersection where cars and tracks meet. I am sure they have regulations about that.
EDIT: I have been reading and they have to blow their horns 4 times at every crossing or it is a serious penalty if they don't. I'm not saying go for a lawsuit or anything like that. Just keep it in mind about the situation since you only heard it once. It's not like they can't say, we'll he didn't hear the other three, because they are LOUD. Kerri has family that lives by RR tracks and you can't carry on a conversation when they are blowing the horn

they give 4 blows usually a couple long and a short and then when they go through the intersection tracks/road they should hold the horn down all the way through the crossing. I have tracks on my street a few blocks up. I hear them all day everyday when I'm home
