yeah, thats what I like about the tundra ext cab, it's rear doors are normal.

    btw, dafuq?

    edit: hold on, fixing link

edit again: nvm, I was trying to share an autotrader link for a 2013 F150 FX4. Sticker price was 62k. Won't let me hotlink it.

Haha, 62K? Did they gold plate it? Jesus.

I got a pretty upgraded XLT, which I'm happy with. I got most of the stuff I care about (tow package, non-touch screen Sync, backup sensor, 3.73 rear axle, roll'n'lock, adjustable pedals for the wife) some stuff I don't but am happy to have (tint, rear locker, tailgate step), and it was way cheaper than going to an fx4/lariat. I almost think they also have too many gizmos and shit in those... built-in nav isn't that great to me, because my phone is always going to be more up-to-date, and the electric folding side mirrors and stuff like that just seem like more to break.

Wheels look way better though. I swear, Ford chromes the crap out of the XL/XLT trucks just so people go to something pricier so their eyes don't bleed when its sunny out.

yeah, exactly why like I like the fx4, color matching.

The folding mirrors are actually nice when you park in a garage. Whenever I'm using my brothers truck, I pretty much fold them in whenever I park.

I'm still loving my DCLB. Main reason I bought the LB, the extra foot of bed length was worth more to me than either manual transmission or TRD Offroad.

With my mild lift in mind and the places we have wheeled, I haven't been hung up by anything that a similar DCSB could have made. But parking and trail U-turns are much more interesting.

yes, parking. I am always amazed at the parking difference between the dcsb and dclb. My sb could park anywhere a car could, my dads truck is just as bad as my chevy was. The LB is definitely a member of the "let me back into this parking space" club. Isn't the wheel base difference like a foot or less too?

I don't like how the DCLB's look! I will be ok with a DCSB

ehh, i didn't either. but now that I don't own either, I think the dcsb looks stubby. A 5.5 bed would probably balance it out well.

at the end of the day nobody here uses their truck as a true work truck, or else you'd have an old beater regular cab long bed full-size, so I don't think it matters a whole lot.

This is true. I still manage to get almost everything in my car or jeep. And usually what I'm trying to haul can be taken apart, or so can my vehicles. Taking seats out gives you a ton of room haha.

I just tie a chain to anything large and drag it where it needs to go. My spare takes up 80% of my bed, so that's my best option. :)

Friend of a friend's truck got stolen in Prattville over the weekend. There's a chrome stack in the bed behind the driver's side, and it's got a tag starting with 4A. If you see it hit me up and I'll get you contact info.
