What county is that in? Only issue is I'll have to make sure the wife is ok with the baby. She'll be 3 months old but I get a little wigged out if I'm gone for awhile and they are alone. Haha doubt I ever get over that but new kid changes ya. That is far our enough I should be ok. Need to know how far though. I'd rather not sleep in a hotel.

I have no idea, I am from Orlando and will be visiting for a few days. Here is the address if it helps:

    89663 Highway 9
    Lineville, AL 36266

I will post an actual meet thread about it sometime today. Seems we have enough interest to make this happen. Thanks guys!

That is a nice chevy, oughta suit floor just right.

edit: however that steering on the taco looks like it would fold like a bread tie at the sight of rocks. Not to mention the axle looks like it would rust as soon as it saw alabama humidity. I still don't understand SAS'ing a new taco when you will still be stuck with leaves in the rear. It's just too expensive of a truck to justify it. Not to mention the wheel base is just too long for what you'd use the solid axle for (unless you are planning on 40"+ tires)

The further down the rabbit hole I go, the more I agree with you on this. It's a great mild wheeling / expo rig, but the point where you say, "I'm going to SAS a >$20k truck," there's really no good reason for it. You can get SOOOOO much more truck for $20 + SAS costs with something else. Now, if you were going to SAS a $3k truck, I won't argue that you're doing it to a vehicle that's too expensive, I'm going to argue that you should just buy a $3k vehicle with a solid axle to begin with.

There's a guy that used to wheel with a buddy of mine out at AU that had a SAS'd mini truck, and (third party info, heard it from my buddy) he twisted the frame on the truck. It just isn't designed for the torque that a solid axle puts on the frame in different spots than IFS does.
