I am waiting on some new wire to do the wiring. I ordered some custom cable, like they use to install small amplifiers. I like the fine strands because it conducts electricity well, and is much more flexible than regular wire.

Gauging interest for my Long Bed Camper

Located in Montgomery Alabama, I am thinking about trading in my tacoma for a 4runner and have a matching speedway blue leer (i think) camper shell for a long bed/access cab.

Great condition, sliding screen windows on each side, rails on top.

Just gauging any interest in the area. Would be willing to drive a little to meet a potential buyer if need be.

Can put some pictures up after work.

    Thanks!,
    Alex

    Alexc,

What are you looking for out of the shell? I expect you are the second owner on this shell. Does it have the front sliding glass? Do the windows lift or just slide open? Either reply here or you can send me a private message.

In the same vein as the shell above, I've got a midrise camper shell for a short bed DC gen 1. It's the lunar mist metallic color, and was on the truck when I bought it. Has sliding front and side windows, needs new latches in the back. I'd like to get $500 OBO, its a jeraco brand shell, $1200-1300 new.

Also, if anybody has stock 17" wheels they want to sell, let me know. I'm wanting 17's to put on my truck so I can get some nitto's or duratracs in the 265/70 size.

    NE bama area if possible.

Not sure about the first gen's, but the 2nd gen stock 17 wheels didn't have enough backspacing for 265/70 Duratracs, probably the same for the Nitto's.

it will be even worse putting a second gen wheel on a first gen. first gens typically have a 4.5" BS stock and a stock second gen wheel is 5.25" bs on a 16 and i think slightly more on a 17.
