Alright, just had some buyers remorse from a purchase today. What I got was what I was looking for. I think the price was also good. The problem is that as soon as I made the purchase, I was telling a friend about it and he says to me "Well, I would have sold you mine for that price."

So, I would like to see if anyone around here is looking for a nice air compressor. I paid $359 plus tax on a Central Pnuematic 29 gallon 150 psi air compressor. It is a oil compressor that is belt driven. Never plugged in, bought today. I would give it up for $350 flat. The reason I offer it up here is that I would have to pay a restock fee to carry it back.

What I have been offered is a Kobalt 80 gallon 155 psi compressor. It is far more than what I could ever see needing, but for the price, I think I would be crazy not to take it. It will require me to make a little more room in the garage and add a 220 volt plug.

So, if anyone is interested, let me know.

If it's more than what you will need, why don't you keep what you bought since it's brand new, won't have to change plugs, Won't have to make more room. Won't hAve to change anything
EDIT: Nevermind. I see it's an 80 gallon vs 29 gallon

I'm not really a football fan, and I didn't watch the iron bowl, but I'm told that it was an awesome game!

    Auburn beat Alabama btw.

Duuuude... that's a great score on the 80 gal. Highly recommend putting the compressor somewhere out of sight and behind closed doors, and then running hard line to the workbench and garage door. They're not THAT loud, but it's soooooooo nice to have it somewhere quiet, and just have the air outlets in convenient spots. I did the electrical and hard plumbed my 60 gal a few years ago.

I used galvanized for the hard line, and used a hydraulic hose with the same tread fittings for the last 3' at the compressor, so that it doesn't vibrate the whole line.

I put the regulator and air cleaner at the garage door end, but if I did it over I'd put them next to the compressor so that I only needed one set. As it is now, when I stub in my line at the workbench I'm going to have to put a second regulator and cleaner.

I want to get a hose reel to mount on the wall right next to the garage door, as it is now I just coil the hose up on the floor and it's kinda a mess.

I read the whole comment first but read it again to understand why he was getting rid of a brand new air compressor.

So... as a result of that disastrous iron bowl, my in-laws have 6 tickets to the SEC championship to sell if any Auburn fans are interested.

Anybody in Huntsville use Rocket City Offroad for any work? Thinking about letting them put new tires on my truck and get my alignment done at the same time after doing my ome lift.

Tried to, dude took forever to get back to me welding my sliders on, and he was a total asshole. Never did actually get a quote on the work in advance. I didn't know of anyone else in Huntsville to go with at the time, so I dealt with it.

He told me come Tuesday at 8, or whatever, so I show up, getting a buddy to meet me there to give me a ride to work. I show up, "nope, we can't get to that this week." Well, thanks for telling me now that I'm here, ya jackass.

Screw that guy, I wouldn't give him any work.

I had similar issues as jspadaro. My best friend owns Alabama Wholesale Tire in Scottsboro and I trust him with absolutely anything on my truck. I know it's a small trip but its well worth it to have great customer service and quality work. If you're interested shoot me a PM and I'll give you all their information.

Well, as it ended up, they did the rear end. I got the struts taken care of, but the back was a mess. You can see my thread on the 1st gen forum for an idea of how jacked my truck was due to rust. Got it back this afternoon, and everything is good, went ahead and had them do tires and alignment while it was there. I had good service, non of the issues the other guys mentioned thankfully.
