I don't really know what type of work you are looking for, or in what area of NC, but Galloway's 4WD Store in Richfield is one good place, from what I hear.

I'd like see this answered too. I live in the exact middle of NC, I get my new taco in about a month also. I know of three mechanics I'd be comfortable with but it'd be nice to have a 4wd specialists shop around who knows what kind of dominoes you tip over when you lift a truck and up the tire size. I plan on doing most of the work myself but I'd like to know if there are any shops around in case I need help with some bad vibes or putting together coil-overs or something.

i'm in siler city, about 25 minutes from asheboro, but I might be somewhere around burlington by the time my new truck gets here. Galloways looks like a long drive but I could go and have every thing done at once I guess. If I do it at home It'll take me several months the way I work.

There used to be a place in Raleigh but they closed down, google can't find anything close by. I've still got at least three weeks to wait though, it's killin' me!

you've got a nice lookin' truck lrgrnr

HAHA, thats funny. I live literally 3 blocks from 4 Wheel Parts in Charlotte, and I considered having my 5100's installed there, but I know they are gonna charge the crap out of me.

haha. They have good deals sometimes, but I've heard enough people say they suck for me to stay out of their shop.

for LT, look at engage or Total Chaos possibly Camburg...cant remember which of the two has the LT kit. wilsons offroad in fayetteville specializes in jeepers, but they can fab/weld/install pretty much anything. i was up there one day and they rhino lined the interior of a taco and fabbed up a winch plate to go through the rear plate. looked nice.
