SouthEast Region Offroading Spring URE Meet April 9-11

Rich, I'm pretty sure that we'd only be on the same road for the last 70 or so miles...I think. I vaguely remember what route Chad was taking down for the fall meet and trying to figure out when we'd be on the same roads.

That's assuming you're going down the east coast.

 

I am interested in attending my first meeting. I have just recently purchase my tacoma but have been a huge fan for years. I would love to attend, but I am also new to the southeast and I just don't know where this URE place is. Any help would be appreciated. Thnx

We should push this back a week the base gave us a move in date of April 9th, I asked to push it back a week and they said I would get skipped over and have to wait for the next house. So looks like I'm out unless i can sneak down for a day

I am going to have to try to make it to this meet. IF I do secretsquirrel I will let you know we can meet up and caravan down since I am a yankee.

 

U don't have to camp. Just come out when you can and call someone so we can meet you at the outpost.

 

Is this a camping trip then? I'd like to come if you guys are cool with a 2 wheel drive tagging along and slowing you guys down!

Depending on my flying schedule, I should be able to bring plenty of imported beer from Germany courtesy of the US Air Force!!

 

Dude, that is awesome beer!!!! I brought home 2 cases back in November and that shit was gone in one week

 

Guess I should start looking into a truck tent, any good recommendations?

Went to Colorado and the Outer Banks, one section of pole is cracked and taped together but still works fine. Retails for $240. I'll sell it for $150. Don't really truck camp like we intended when I got it. By the time I start truck camping again I'll prolly be farther west with a RTT

Beer Fest, and as far as the beer, I'll bring ya case! They just changed are missions to 15 days, so if I leave this weekend, I should hopefully be good to go up there! Fingers Crossed!

My bad it's a Sportz III Worth looking into. That tent plus a twin sized air mattress filled from the TRD outlet got me and my wife through the rockies plenty comfy. It's the best thing this side of an $800 roof top tent.
