I'd be down if it's a weekend I have off. I went on the internet to check the park out, but didn't see any info on the trails. How many do they have that are available to drive on and what is the terrain like? Can you camp off of them?

Count me in too- I was planning on doing Beasley Knob this weekend but some people I know went and really thrashed their rigs on it. I wanna go have a good time with minimal carnage! So if you guy's are going somewhere else I'm down. I heard there are a lot of abandoned access dirt roads up in N. Ga. that are fun with some river crossings and what not.

I just found a great site that has TONS of legal trails on it. Most are FS roads which are generally Prerunner friendly, however i am not sure because i have not seen them. Here is the site:http://www.georgiaoverland.com/2010/01/georgia-dot-and-forest-service-roads.html I plan on hitting up some of these as soon as i am free on a weekend (looking like may 22). If any of yall hit up these trails please post and let us know your experience.

Im gonna throw may 22 and 23 out there for a meet and wheel saturday, possible camping over night and wheel out sunday.....any takers?????

^^^ I'm down for that- we need to hit up the guys from the last Macon MeetnGreet and see if any of those wanna hit it up.

I was talking with a buddy over at toyotanation with a landcruiser that's down for it for sure he says- and he has a few buddies w/ rigs that wanna come.

I have heard some really good things about those FS roads up there. So it's gonna be wheel n camp?

GC, I have no idea how long it would take to drive these, a day maybe. I know there are some good camping spots around alot of these trails. if people wanna camp im down, well just have to see what the interest is. I was up in cohutta last weekend backpacking and they are fun gravel roads, not much else. im in the process of getting together all of the Forest service roads in north georgia together and maping some longer rides for us to do.

Thanks for the website. I might actually go up to those trails near cherry log since its pretty much straight up 575N from my house to 515 then make a right turn in cherry log go a few miles and i'm at the trail head.
