Utah

Headed to Utah from this Sunday until next Sunday. Not sure what area I'm going to be at (somewhere that would be a good location to drop people out of a plane?), but as a general idea, what is there to do there? When I find out the location, would anyone be interested in meeting up and getting dinner or something? Won't have the taco with me, but I will have access to a rental vehicle.

 

I won't be able to make it to the trail run on Sat. 17th but you should try and tag along with somebody going.

As far as what to do on the rest of the week, I'm not sure. What types of things do you enjoy doing?

 

Your welcome to ride with me... my dogs will just have to live with being in the back. My truck is a stock 1999 TRD, but I am putting a couple of new tires on tomorrow so I at least have a little traction. The run sounds fairly easy, but should be some nice scenery. We're actually apparently staying somewhere that is just inside Nevada, about 2.5 hours away from Salt Lake City...Staying in a casino hotel, to bad I don't turn 21 until Aug 1st, or maybe that is a good thing! I will check out the other thread, thanks for the info, and the invite!

 

I'm in Wendover if anyone is from around here and knows where that is. I've seen a few nice Tacoma's driving around, including a sweet first gen. We took our rental Ford Expedition driving down some dirt roads today, ended up almost getting stuck on the side of a mountain, inbetween two rocks trying to make a tight turn without hitting the rocks, with 1 back wheel up in the air, one front tire in a loose gravel hole. Talk about nerve racking! (the attached picture does not do it justice)

Well, if anyone is near here, and wants to meet up and get some dinner anytime this week, let me know! I was going to try to get to the meet on the 17th in Utah, but unless I'm able to get a ride after we finish flying for the day, it's not likely

Yeah I just PM'd him but I think he said he's working Saturday and I have to leave town early to make it to Skaggs cause I have to order new uniforms for work.

Me too, trying to work out a way to get down to Salt Lake City after we land with the crew. We shall see though
