All of this rain in Nevada makes me want to take a day off and head to the hills

I was at Nellis last week. I pulled a 3/4 ton Banks powered diesel Dodge out at the dunes. He was stuck good.

Me too. I haven't had a whole day to wheel lately but I managed to go play around for an hour after work last week just to fling a little mud around. Good times.

    seriously depussified oc to
The October SNLC run will be next Saturday, October 23, 2010. We will be going across the Dam, or if it is open, the new bridge, and explore some trails in the Northwest corner of Arizona. We also may go to the ghost town of Chloride, Arizona. Plan on taking all day, so bring a lunch, drinks, etc.

We will be leaving from the Railroad Pass Casino parking lot at 8AM Saturday morning. If we are lucky, we will be some of the first people to cross the new Dam bypass bridge.

Please let me know if you plan on attending. this run is claasified as a C3 Stock tacomas OK on the easy 5 scale or a 3.5 - 4 on the 10 scale. with the mud you are probably going to need 4WD .

I went out to Nellis today. I got my truck stuck pretty bad. I hat not having locked axles or a posi-trac differential, etc. Driver side front tire stuck in the dune, driver side rear tire in the air spinning on air. Passenger side front tire digging a hole to China. Rear passenger tire pinched up against the fender way too much articulation (when I got home I found that my new 5100 Bilstein rear shock was blown). It took my friend and I an hour to dig out.
