If there is snow, I don't know how wise it would be to bring a Pre-Runner out there.

At the VERY least, put 200-300 pounds worth of sandbags in the rear of the bed.

    That is a tough one.

On one hand, Shawn tried out Shawn's hill in 2wd (unsuccessfully), which long story short, is how it ended up getting its name.

On the other hand, you do have rear lockers and other traction assist devices.

I would say you're probably just fine.

According to Greg (Manlaan), 5 Mile only caught the edge of the storm, so it shouldn't be too bad (fingers crossed).

Hopefully the roads aren't too bad for those of you driving long distance, if another storm comes through.

    See you all soon!

Yeah hopefully it wont be to bad. I honestly dont want to spend half the day getting stuck or sliding off the road.

Hopefully I-80 wont be to bad this Saturday. There has been a whole bunch of wrecks these past couple of days from all the snow and ice on the roads.

I was kinda hoping to be able to go check out the conditions last weekend, but with the storm in the valley and my riding companion chickened out, I didn't get out that way. With the time change, I'll never be able to see what it looks like, even if I am able to make it out there after work. :/

So, it'll be an adventure for all of us.

I did get 2 pair of chains, so it'll have to be pretty bad in order make it completely impassable. I'm not sure how comfortable I am making trails out there though, so I'm hoping that there's some sort of trail to follow from other people.

btw, anyone have a gopro or similar type camera we can get going? I'm hoping to have one myself within a few months, but until then... It'd be nice to get some actual video of the trails.
