Haven't done that yet, but I wasn't modded last summer so I didn't go out too often and didn't push too hard. This summer will be different.

LOL I think I'll just go down to the Animas and pick a few up....or out in my front yard...heehee

The mod addiction laid its wrath down upon my checkbook 6 months ago with the s/o's TJ Rubicon...LOL figured I need to show the Taco some love too. :D

Saving grace = Taco is 1700mi away from me, and also only 2WD. Praying the s/o doesn't get any ideas going out to break anything (not to mention he has Rubi to attempt to break now after all the work LOL)

My wallet is going to hate me soon too. It'll love me first, thanks to the income tax refund incoming, then it'll hate me for sucking that refund dry.

I bought one also. I got mine from Family Tire Pros in Windsor, but there is one off of Gartrell and 470. They have this sale in the summer where you buy two tires and their lifetime alignment, balance and rotate for $150. After buying that I still got a tire and a 1/4 for free. And there is no limit to how many alignments you can do.

The problem with lifetime alignmnets is they only set the toe. If the vehicle pulls but the numbers on the magic box say green, there is nothing they can do. The biggest thing I find doing alignements is techs think green means it is all right. They don't account for camber or caster leads to correct for tire size and road crown.

As an example, on my 4runner I switched fron 285s to 255s and I'm tring to find the right toe to make it less twitchy. The numbers are green but the truck doesn't feel right. I don't have a pull but it feels like there is too much toe in.

Did this pull start after a curbshot? tire rotation? 4wheeling?

Can't sell it....just bought it 7mo ago & will take a loss on it. I've succumbed to the idea of having a 2wd taco. ..it won't be my last taco. Mod up & then sell later maybe. Have an AWD Bimmer & a 4wd TJ Rubicon at my disposal as well.

Is it a bad idea? I don't know that all of them are. If you can, go talk to the tech who will be doing the alignment, get a feeling if he/she knows what he/she is doing. The crapshoot at the chains is, there are good techs out there and others that need help. If they own a lifted truck that is a plus. Due to the lower pay, a lot of them are newer guys with little time on line.

So when/how did this pull start?
