it's not about hard trails, it's about going from on end of CO to the other through back roads...mainly off-road

trucks should be able to do most if not all of the sections

Spoken like a true Colorado native. I haven't been on my board for three years. I would rather snowshoe or just drink than hike up just to ski down. More power to you crazy bastards who do the bc skiing thing though!

Just watched all 6 of those videos. My wife did too and now we want to do that run with just us in my truck. I am not from Colorado though so I am unfamiliar with the back roads here. Does anyone have a map of the route they took? I have 2 weeks of vacation time in June and would love to do that run.

route change i would have though is to run imogene pass to yankee boy basin instead of heading over to ophir pass to the $m highway

then gas in ouray, go mineral creek>engineer pass to lake city

    not yet officially....

would be nice to get you up there so we have a nice group to head uphill with

if someone wants to contact toytec or other local vendors to sponsor, similar to the prior event, go for it....could get $ from them to get the reservations and maybe have some giveaways...i have no time to pull that off right now

my worry about moving it to late march would be snow conditions...wondering if the end of february, the 24th would be better....but with the way this winter is going, who knows when the snow will be falling...

then on the otherside, end of march maybe warmer and more enjoyable for those hanging out on the beach...

    so :notsure:

Im torn and could do any of the sundays mentioned. Snow could get better towards the middle of march but if it continues like it has this winter we are going to be spring skiing around that time.

Ive had my best turns at abasin mid may though so its a total toss up!!!! I can shoot doug at toytec an email and let him know the possible dates and see what he says.

Sunday's I have off from now till then.

    Mar 24, 31

I don't think the snow conditions are going to change much. March is hopefully going to be our saving grace month and just snow a shit ton.
