I bet it was awesome yesterday, I drove from aspen to pueblo and it was beautiful. Well, until I got back to Denver. I hope you didnt try to go too far today.
Anyway, I can ride down to Denver to meet up, no biggie. Any dates not work for the people involved? That might make it easier to plan a time

    SO WHO'S IN?!

    TAYLOR PARK RESERVOIR

    when - July 14-15
where - Taylor Park reservoir (Cottonwood Pass)
what - weekend of camping, wheeling, fishing and no campfires
there's many trail options we can do in that area too...from mild to wild

    who:
    NYCO
    GeoTaco?
    cshade?
    DOT - maybe
    ffemt2987 - maybe
    Brrap634 - maybe

many trail options to explore in the buena vista area...

plus the reservoir is a great area to just hang out, play games, fish and relax

there's plenty of things to hike around there if you so wish

might be hiking elbert friday and maybe a couple 14ers sunday...

I just realized its a 4.5 hr drive to get there. Without camping I wouldn't have anytime to wheel before heading back down.

The crawler does 35-40mph up steep hills so add that back in. :(

Its a 22r with 5:29's. Not the best for highway driving. Not too bad on flat ground though.

I really want to go up to do some camping. Even just an overnight. Early August would be best for me, and weekdays are not a problem. My only issue is a nearly stock rig. If anyone wants to get out for a short trip on a mild trail to do some camping and maybe fishing, lemme know. Maybe you all know about a mild trail in to a lake that leads to some more hardcore trails for you guys with lifts and such. I could hang out and fish while the beefy rigs go out.
    Ideas/thoughts?
