I'm going to be putting my TSB leafs up for sale (~$100) for anyone locally who is out of warrenty but wants the TSB. Thought I would throw it up here first.

Anyone interested in them, PM me.

    You'll have to ask Eric.
I got a special price for helping him several times with test fittings & prototyping.

So I've looked through a few reviews, and this tire seems to be a perfect match for my DD use as well as off-road performance..

    Falken Rocky Mountain ATS II
    285/75

Any input? I have a great deal lined up for $155/tire

True. Do love those wheels, but the wife is now monitoring my bank account to the penny. It was fun explaining the lift, and now tires. will the 285s mount up to the stockers with the lift for now? I may end up with spidertraxx until summer.. But the guys at discount say they won't touch my truck with them on..?

You can physically fit 285's on stock wheels, but some places won't mount the tires if the rim is narrower than recommended wheel width of the tire. I've got 285's on my stock tundra wheels (which are the same width as 2nd gen taco, but less backspacing) on my wife's 4runner. Minor sway bar rubbing but for a mall crawler its fine. For stock taco wheels, you'll have to run spacers for sure to clear the UCA and frame lock to lock. I got her a set of taco wheels for the winter I put snow tires on. Tried to do the 285's for the snow tires, but the taco wheels just have too much backspacing.

Im sure it liability issue since they mount the wheels on the truck when new tires are put on.

On a side note, Im looking forward to a trail run with everybody.

I have 285/75/17 on tundra steel rims and there was no problem getting them mounted or rubbing the UCA, before or after alignment.

I went to Reno Vulcanizing downtown and they were great.
