Cool. Just give the word once you know what's what. Are you renting the truck? Just throwing this out that Penske is a good place to go with.

Ok guys, anyone who would be willing to lend a hand on sunday, lets meet at my current shop at 9:30. Or if you cant make that, any time later is fine as well. I appreciate any help I can get, so thanks ahead of time to those that may come by!
I should have a flatbed truck, a couple pickups, and a forklift for the large stuff.

Smells like a plan! Didn't I hear something on the news about one of the intersections there being closed off for that SE connector dealie they're building? Is there a way not to come in?

Found it. Stuff going on over at Greg and Sparks perhaps. I'll just avoid that intersection.

    Hi,

Figured after lurking and finally registering today, I'd post in a local group. I live in Fernley, as it seems so do a few others here, but I work in the Bay Area.

I used to (in the process of selling it) have a 1997 LX450 aka Land Cruiser. You might have seen it around Fernley/Reno. Big, green, snorkel, lots of armor, really crappy gas mileage.

Currently drive a 2012 Subaru STi, which happens to be my economy car. Perhaps my mid-life crisis car too.

Working on finalizing out a deal on a 2013 Tacoma Sport 4x4 Double Cab/Short Bed V6/Auto in Pyrite Mica. Hoping to finish it up and have it next week sometime.

Since I've already had the major mod bug burned out via my LX, I'm going to keep the truck fairly stock for awhile. Maybe get some FJC wheels and some better tires for exploring some of the back country.

Look forward to meeting all of you guys/gals down the road.

I've lived there for about three years now lol.

I actually get my hair cut @ attitude adjustments in town. I'm headed home in about 5.5 hours. If you see a blue STi with the plates of NASTI zooming by, it's just me :D

I'm not trading the STi for the Tacoma, but replacing my LX with the Tacoma. It's a nice to to have 2 vehicles incase something happens to one of them.

Nothing wrong with it, just moving on.

1997 LX450 5.29 gears, factory e-lockers, 4x4 labs rear bumper, short bus front bumper, iron pig skid, factory supercharger, rebuilt motor by powderpig, 315 Toyo MTs, OME heavy/heavy lift. Lots of spare stuff. Sold/selling to guy in Calif. Sold for 15k. It's always a loss as to what you put into it, but I enjoyed the truck and enjoyed building it up from stock.

Had truck for about 7-8 years and just time to move on to something not quite so mod'd. Just want to go back to something stock :p

I can't say I won't mod the Tacoma, as I'm sure I will, but it will be down the road and will be sensible mods (yeah right).

Since I'm getting the sport version, I won't have lockers, but that's ok. If I end up wanting them, I'll have ARBs put in front/rear and call it done. Maybe 33's and a small/decent lift. I have a brand new synthetic winch line, but no winch, so I'll need a bumper down the road too.
