It will be awhile before the mods start. But, yes, I am on the path, planning is ALWAYS the first step of the money spending :D I think the eventual process will be more light expedition type of vehicle. If I want to go crazy again, I would get an old 85-87 4 Runner or go back to an FJ40 and have fun. It's nice to have a mostly stock vehicle that you enjoy driving everyday.

My truck (always called my LX this) was/is a blast to drive. Although, 8/10/12 mpg sucked. I consider my STi an economy car compared to the LX as it gets 23~ mpg which isn't bad.

I saw that you can get a supercharger for the tacoma, but since I've been there/done that, I don't want to have to put in super all the time.

From what I've read the tacoma should get around 18~ which isn't too bad. My normal commute during the week is about 5 miles each way and then coming home on weekends which is about 240 miles each way.

Dealership called and said it is arriving today (transferring from another dealership) but after I'm leaving.

Scratch the above statement. Dealership just called and said that it was stolen out from under me... Apparently someone else is getting it and not me. So, salesguy is ordering a brand new one from factory for me, 4-8 weeks from now I guess I'll have a Tacoma  Almost like the 4 weeks for my STi which turned into 9 weeks.

I should have some pictures of the new truck next week as well as put up some pictures of my old truck for JBerry's chubby

    Have a great weekend guys/gals.

    Jon

Reno is where all the old people go...to die. :crapstorm:

Edge at Peppermill is fun...and the go go dancers are nice to ogle. I may have spent some time at Aura Ultra Lounge in the Silver Legacy too.

How to score free sh!t at les schwab...
    Let them do your alignment.

Left the front LCA bolt loose, and let me drive away like that. All tabs are smashed. Noticed a popping sound and the obvious mis-alignment and brought it back to them. All I got was an "oops, our bad." after talking to a manager, all my tires are now free. I think TC has weld on tabs or gussets, or whatever they're called... So those will be on order soon.

Damn that sucks. Had a similar experience with them aligning my 07 Tacoma back in oregon.
Let me know if you want those tab reinforcements welded on.
