    Ah, bummer :(

I didn't see anything either. Did you take 70 back? or 80? I'm gonna guess you picked up something on the highway.

Took 80, and yeah, they pulled a total of 13 roofing nails out. Have to replace two tires because they went through the inner sidewalls. Buying the certs this time around.

That hella sucks. We would have notices something at least on 80. Hopefully no one is messing with your truck.

I would challenge the "abuse" claim then on the hazard insurance. I really don't think all of us drove over that many nails on the trail and only you got stuck. Unless you had square head nails in your tire dating back to the early 1900s.

I also don't think you pulled that many nails from the piece of plywood you mentioned. That would have been obvious before we left the church. Hell, how do they even try to prove reckless from nails running up the trail?

I'm heading down to another Schwab where I know the owner tomorrow, I called him and left a message earlier, and he just got back to me. He said he'd get things "squared away."

Yeah, well, kind of.. My account was refunded for the two new tires that were ordered.. My buddy who works at a different location found out today that the guy who told me my tires were toast, was in fact rocking them on his shitty little ranger this morning. So I'm still getting new tires.. Just feel a little betrayed by the shadyness of this individual.

Oh well, two new tires for free, just have to wait a week. Trucks lookin a bit goofy with the temporary used road tires in the rear.

Glad you got the new fronts. I would go back and ask they guy how the other tires with 17 nails are doing on his Ford Ranger :)
